Is the work-life balance for in-house counsel really that good? I'm interning in-house now and the fulltimers seem quite shag too.

SLB typically makes up partners at around 6PQE. But I think salary for junior partner should be 10k range, slightly lower than equivalent 6PQE in Big 4
12K is more like a Big 4 fresh junior partner (pre-2022 salary adjustments). Not sure what's the payscale now, perhaps 13-14k

Bruh lmao I know people like to **** on B4 but let's be a little fair... even before the recent adjustments 12k was way too low for fresh B4 junior partner.
Right now 12k is what a fresh B4 senior assoc (4 PQE) makes. The fresh junior partner is 3-4 bands above that.
