You’re obviously either one of the 11 or a person who really doesn’t understand basic evidence, or very likely both. Either way, it’s clear you should never practice.

Makes sense. Is Evidence a required subject for Part B? Methinks the OP needs a refresh on evidence law. Probably why he/she cheated too.

Is Hogan Lovells Lee & Lee really a thing? I know it's stated to be the JLV between both firms, but do you get hired as a HL associate or a L&L associate?

Can be either. HL assocs paid on HL scale, L&L assocs paid on L&L scale.

So basically it's just a vehicle for both firms to work on some shared matters ah?

For local TC holders, definitely L&L pay.

That's how most JLV/FLA work, the payscale depends on whether you are on the int side or the local side. If you applied local tc or to the local side, you get local pay.

Is there a difference working in his team or other partners teams like Joseph Lee? How is it like working for him?

It's the unremarkable, crappy, mid-tier local law firms with their subpar service levels and unprofitable partners that should be afraid. Quite a number of these firms shouldn't be around - they should either fold or consolidate for survival. Just a matter of time.

Doubtful. Even A&G is not asked to quote on the big ticket matters anymore. MCs are matching big4 quotes and even undercutting. No wonder lucien left. Everything is goin downhill

I worked at LVM chambers for a while, he is a very nice guy, and patient. The issue is that he's on ORD mode (i.e. retiring mode) and isn't actively pursuing big cases, so the work you'll be doing is not the level you expect an SC to be tackling... this trickles down to the whole firm since he's the main attraction for his firm. So there's not much difference between his teams and other teams, just know that you'll be handling not so high value work.
