Thanks for insights. I think liberalization is only one aspect.
There are other things such as technology and AI that will remove most processes currently done by the junior lawyers in the larger firms.
There may be a hollowing out of that segment

This is the kind of liti lawyers we need, thinking laterally and out of the box. I think you will go far whether in law or in politics compared to your sheltered colleagues who are content with their meagre lot.

has anyone hear had experience going straight into in-house right out of law school?

was wondering what the career progression is like and what salary range can one realistically hope to achieve at around the 5-7 year mark
