Bruh quite a number of analysts who got hired don't have tech nor consulting background. That's the beauty of the consulting field in the first place, that they hire from any major. And also that Accenture is hiring for numbers.

Stability is relative. Govtech is iron rice bowl, Accenture will always be viewed as the less secure option compared to that. Which is why the pay needs to be higher to attract people - likewise for big tech, finance, consulting, etc. If they pay the same as government jobs, people might as well join government job for stability.

Just curious tho, does Accenture fires employees who’ve can’t get promoted? Heard of cases where analyst still stay stuck as analysts for 3 years.

How is govtech better lol, govtech is only known in sg leh, it’s good in a sense that it’s a public sector job. But global firm or global branding? Nah, far from it.
