Whatever he said, is already things people already know. For such a big event and session where in-person attendance is mandatory + during work hours, I expected more from him - in a way where he announce a big initiative that changes TAPper's experience. However, initiatives announced - such as training, and the program which is supposedly "for the people" - aka the snacks and fridge, does little for the people.
-The new welfare program is (imo) useless cause (1) fridge is 95% of the time empty, (2) most people are based in client office.
-The training program - people are all coped in their project busy "firefighting". Where got time and energy to go?
I think he could have organise a focus session with the tapper, for have a feedback session on what the TAPpers want/feel could be better.
Apparently the 1+2 program which is promised and protects the analysts are no longer in place. Failed the address the backlog in promotion where many are promised as well.
My feedback - since maybe issues are centered around projects (how to get out of existing one, and how to get chargeability), a better initiative that management can think of is to improve visibility on the existing projects which allows analyst to connect with the client account leadership. The existing platform to "match" candidate to potential projects are very trashy (low success rate), and HR partner (whose job is to help u get a project) only knew of terrible and desperate projects. The cooler projects are useless kept hush hush unless you are within their network, and not on the project portal.

Yeah, hell go on LinkedIn, you'll find a ton of "Application Developers" at DBS who don't even have a degree lmfao.
Meanwhile I'm working like a dog here in Accenture with my CS degree.
