I got offered too, went for last Saturday's EE and they sent me an email today. No specific pod allocation so far but HR said they will take into consideration your background and assign you after you confirm your acceptance.

They are actually the same just that general tap they combined both tech (analytics, security) and consulting where they will decide who gets posted to which. But for the graduate consulting opening it’s only for the consulting pods so applicants are directly posted to consulting if they get an offer.

Ahhh gg so it’s taking a bet too cos this is the general tap so if you want consulting you may or may not get it as you got to accept first before they confirm where you’re allocated to 😬

Tap offer recipient for tap last year, for those under general tap if you are hoping to get consulting, your chance is quite low cos they tend to reserve more consulting offers for the grad-consulting opening applicants. Many of us who applied to the general tap ended up with tech roles, a few who were lucky get consulting offers but not many. So if you’re really into consulting, you stand a higher chance if you have consulting experience (especially at MBBs) or you applied and got processed for the graduate consulting analyst opening as their hiring stage is rather different (they do not have the hackkerank).

TAP got 6 PODs, business analysis and change management is within consulting core, the rest is under technology core.
All in all, both core is combine under TAP
