Citco Fund Services
Fellow bros in Citco, I have received an offer to join as a senior ops analyst. Can someone shed some light on the package, work hours, and bonuses?

Work hours not too bad by industry standards. 70hr a week for normal times though it can go up to 90 when there is market volatility and you get hit by all sorts of last min request from the clients.
Citco is just an outsourcer, so in terms of pay its better than other BPO companies, but they are of course much lower than the AM industry.
They like to sell the prospect that you can network and know the BBs in the industry, but in reality I never see anyone from there actually make it to the proper AM side.

SIM grad issit? Dont expect so much la, got more than 2.5k considered very lucky already.
Plus no need to worry about fitting in the culture as they hire alot of SIM grads, is pretty much like your school days.

Don't be a moron. citco pays a flat salary of 3k for all new hires. secondly, TS didn't mention he's worried about fitting in.

dude u dun join an outsourcer with hedge funds & private equity as your main customers and expect to work 5 days work week... even big4 auditors work at least 12 hrs a day.
basically citco will be working the same sort of hours as their clients because they are the ones providing all the administrative support. 70hrs is average normal for banking/investment industry anyway.

Citco is a dumping ground for SIM grads. I have like 6 friends from SIM working in citco at cbp. Paywise is pretty much the same at around flat 3s. From what i gathered, it is indeed a deadend job as some had pointed out earlier.
But some are quite contented with it.. so.. can't say much about it.
