Research Analyst - Hedge Fund/Asset Mgt
Hi. I would like to ask about the annual compensation for a fresh grad entering a Hedge fund or Asset Mgt firm as a research analyst.
I am currently an audit associate in a Big 4 firm but my interest lies in the capital markets. Currently taking my CFA, I am considering if I should leave after completing my CFA (2 years time) or it would be better if I take a 6mth-1 year break to complete an internship in a hedge fund, before attempting to get into a Asst Mgt firm/Bank/Hedge fund as a full analyst.
Any advise? Thanks!

hmm? may I ask what position? And how to apply or how to get in?
Somehow it seems that even with 1st class its also hard to get into any banks, unless you are from ivy league.
