Thats about 7-8 years (IF YOU GET PROMOTED TO SUP), and you'll probably draw 5K how does that make 80K in less than 10 years? knn citco warriors dont lie to yourselves. you are not even in the trade cycle. You as a fund admin is the last safety net for reconciliation breaks. You are not middle office, not back office, certainly not FO.
you are correct.

Entry level? That's not bad, comparable to foreign banks.

Plus no need to worry about fitting in the culture as they hire alot of SIM grads, is pretty much like your school days.
Hi, i'm a SIM graduate working at BoA currently, my advise for all recent graduates, dont be afraid of whats to come, where you're going. just go experience it yourself, seek out opportunities, dont be a worry wart. I did not get my current job by sitting on my ass worrying, and to be honest, trading isnt about being the top student, having said that, not everybody goes into trade. So dont be too downtrodden, and dont seek advices from keyboard warriors who knows jack **** about the trade/fund management industry.
As long as you find a job that you like, go with it, worrying only makes you hesitate, why limit yourself over all the fear, take the first step see where it takes you.

ps i have seen 1st class honors people from nus ntu smu who cant survive in BoA, so dont fret, do your best
