I don't know if my previous post is up.

I'm the original poster.

I left those jobs with together with long stayers in the companies and we did reflect hard on ourselves and the environment prior to our decision - note these are women in their 40s with young children, they are not going to leave a job easily but they did.

We found the problem un-fixable and it certainly wasn't us that's toxic.

If you were to judge me, i'd say the only sin of mine is i don't like to fight at work. I should have stood up for myself more and learn to suck up more to colleagues with power.

I do my stuff and try my best to work with others. I don't gossip and don't mingle unnecessarily. I don't ask others to do clear my ****. So what am i toxic of?

Gettings lots of interview invitations.
Had 3 interviews so far, and some I didn't bother going to.
2 of them offered me the job but I turned them both down.
One of them I never wanted anyway so I don't know why I bothered, and the other didn't offer me enough hours apparently due to "budget constraints".
Only had the third interview yesterday so still waiting to hear back.

I've had 4 interviews my entire life, been offered a job for all 3, hopefully this one I'm waiting on now will offer me because I actually want this one, I'm on a winning streak.

Nowadays, even government is embracing frequent job changes and they call it 'career mobility'.

I myself am thankful for my frequent job changes, otherwise, I won't be able to learn many things. Currently, I am in my new job. My experiences have helped me alot.

What is there to reflect about on frequent job change ? You must have your reasons for leaving a company. Come on, this is a fast changing world. You won't be remembered even if you work in company for 20 years once you left the company due to retirement.

Talking about 'loyalty' in this era ? You must be kidding.

You sound like me. I also don't gossip and join whatsap group to gossip. I do my best in my work. There are instances I cannot tolerate the behaviors of some toxic colleagues. Even I leave the company, they are part of the reasons, though not entirely because of them. Yes, I also don't fight at work. I have seen colleagues who think they are smart but actually I know they are wrong in most times. lol. Really make my day.

Could I ask how long do you all usually work at a job before changing?

Every 3.5 years change job ok? Or no reason don’t change?

Have worked for 3 years, at still at my first job since graduating 3 years ago

If I do change, most likely due to pay increment

Shouldn’t change a job for the sake of changing. If you are happy working in the company, and the job pays well or in line with market, it’s alrite to stay in a company for long.

If you want to change, be it for higher pay or exposure, 3 years looks fine.

Not yet signed means either party can change their mind. So why should they take down the advertisement? Who knows last min the company can get somebody better than you? its a winner gets all world. So my advise you better faster sign.

Default 6 months contract quit job 2 weeks

Hi i have started a new job as a cso in uob call centre. I was told it was to aid internet banking customers but i am being trained for remittance. There are a lot of operations processes that i dont follow and i hate it. The pay is extremely low for this kind of complicated job. Pay is 1.8K. Contract says i have to serve 2 weeks before terminating. I really dont see myself working here. Agent said it will reflect badly on my employment status when future companies do background check on my prev job and asks questions why i left within 2 weeks. Guys im a degree holder for godsake. I only started this work to go develop my career upwards within a bank. This bank centre is filled with foreigners and it is an operations centre so not like those banks there is out there.

I just dont want to regret leaving this job after termination notice period and being prevented from getting hire because premature termination of contract period.

I would like some advice pls
