Those who feel inferior to others often respond by being defensive.

yea true abt the subjects nvr being equivalent to other schools. but i dont think theres even a bell curve in sim (i may be wrong).

And whats this about a guy rejecting nus for sim? i dont rmb talking abt such a thing? lol, ure like going off point there. And yea, i know there are street smart ppl from nus, i acknowledged that.

anw...so are u saying treasury sales is definitely out for sim? even if its a second or third job? whats a typical day like in treasury sales?
well, Oxbridge and ivies are gunning for treasury sales job. sim.. even if one does a blatant lie and list LSE (SIM) on their cv..

treasury sales sells treasury related prdts to the treasury department of MNCs. its mostly to manage the fx risks of the finance dept in a MNC, like IRS, fx forwards/swaps/spot

totally agree. most sims are just so proud, that they got a call from the big4 for an interview.

Many SIM grads working in treasury either in banks or in corporate sectors
Many NUS/NTU grads working as real estate agents or insurance agents
Your university pedigree does not pre-destined your career

wow. I wonder why people choose to study in nus then, when you can just pay and get a part time crap degree in 1.5years

To all the SIM bashers, since you are from local unis (presumably), put your progression or annual packages here for comparison before you continue the bashing. It maybe that you are wallowing in some SME after 10 years and just disgruntled with how others have turned out.

Empty vessels make the most noise.

it is always easy to be anecdotal and point out that there are SIM grads who work in certain prestigious [insert industry/position]. while i dont doubt that there ARE indeed a few SIM individuals who managed to achieve that, let's be honest about it, in most situations, a degree from NUS/NTU will definitely confer someone greater advantage than a degree from SIM.

Hello. Just wondering if anyone have any idea roughly how much one can draw as a fresh grad?
