What kind of misconduct will get you dismissed?

Without knowing the specifics of your case (and assuming you were not subsequently charged and convicted in a court of law), the general rule of thumb based on IMs suggest you are blacklisted for 5 years (although, in practice, ministries/ SBs may not actually check against your records).

Medical check up to verbal Offer
Hello=),
I wasnt given a verbal offer but was asked to go for the raffles medical check-up by HR of the ministry of social and family development. This is unlike the norm of verbal offer, followed by the health check-up from what I heard from my friends.
Does going to a medical check-up equate to the high chance of being offered if the medical check-up turns up fine?
Thx^_^
