If I have decided to accept the new job via the movement policy package, and I understand my new job only start 2.5mth later, do we still need to submit a resignation letter? If need, when do we usually do it? Or the two hr will sort out and inform accordingly?

movement policy package?
lateral movement ie within different SB of the same ministry?

think your new organisation and the current one will sort out when coy A is supposed to release you to coy B and the hand-takeover stuff?

say your CCL in company A
u tender liao
u have to clear all CCL as it cannot be encashed/rollover to new company
don't leave any leftover to be forfeit/lugi

once u start at company B
think u work at least 3 mths liao
will have CCL entitlement of 6 days

however scenario differ if say u use only 2 days in Company A
tender and zhao with the 4 days un-used since it can't be encashed
when u go company B, work 3 months
think your CCL will be pro-rated to 4 days instead of reset bck to 6
not sure if this understanding is correct as I believe the CCL is tracked with govt incentive and what knots so can't be a case of job hopper keep switching
and every 3 months at new company, the CCL count gets reset to 6
in a way is like gaming the system

Hi … Under movement policy still have to resign.
Seek advice from new min/SB when is the right time to
tender. Must also find out if current min/SB will hold u for
3 months so you & the new min/SB can plan out the right
timing to tender yr resignation.

I went thru the movement policy last 2 yrs
