Is appointment letter consider as LOA? I have received appointment letter from HR and I am required to sign on it and return to them with other documents (new staff information form, etc). Have finalised the commerce date as well, does it means all my clearances have cleared? As my ref check contact didn't get contacted yet as of this stage, so not sure is it consider "safe" to tender after I have signed and submit all the documents.

Mine is totally opposite from you. I have yet to receive appointment letter or LOA, but my ref check was already contacted and have been told by hr my security clearance was cleared, commence date also discussed (but not yet confirmed)

Erm your “appoint letter” on top title is “Appointment Letter”?
Or is it “Letter of Appointment” aka LOA? Heheheheh

Title is : Appointment as XXX title
I am pleased to offer you appointment as XXX in XXX company on a 1 year contract.
Commerce date already confirmed & finalised with HR, I will need to sign on the "Appointment Letter" and indicate whether I accept / not accept the appointment.

Hi all! I am hoping to get some of the views and advice of any experienced seniors here. I have found that having to change roles every 1-2 years due to contract and a lack of headcount can be quite disruptive... I would like to devote a significant amount of time to a role and potentially build a career out of it instead of having to deal with this headcount issue every 1-2 years.. As I won't stay young forever and i am hoping to find some stability as well and start a family.
Do you all think it would be advisable for me to explore opportunities in the private sector? I am open to any suggestions or insights you may have. Thank you!

Like to know this as well. Currently am on contract and told by my supervisor unlikely to have headcount. Am hoping to settle down and start a family soon too.
