Last time i think mine change to shortlisted. All 4 applications changed to that before interview.

Timeline so far

Week 0 - Apply
Week 3 - Contacted by HR to arrange interview
Week 3 - 1st interview by HR, Reporting Officer, RO’s boss
Week 4 - Arrange 2nd interview
Week 5 - 2nd interview with senior mgmt
Week 6 - reference checks and G50 form submitted

Question: no offer so far and no discussion of package. What are some tell tale signs to see if I’m the backup candidate?

Now is week what? usually after 2-3 weeks then get back.

This is week 7. My reference said they were contacted and they replied.

The thing is other posts in this thread mostly seem to say a verbal offer or at least a call indicating “keen to proceed” or other such positive words, before they submitted g50 and had reference checks.

I didn’t have such positive feedback although they did ask me to update them if I received other offers

Should called u by Week 9. For my case, HR did reference checks first then called me to verbal offer..
If u are ok with the package, they will send u the LOA within 1 week and then follow by medical check up..

First time posting here. I’ve found some of the info on this thread helpful, so I’d like to share my own experience applying with the Public Service.

Background: Applied sometime towards EOY.

Week 0 – applied online thru C@G. Contacted by HR to share more abt. the JD and obtain general info. Received a prompt to complete questionnaires on the portal
Week +1 – Received panel interview date
Week +2 – Panel interview (I had to reschedule)
Week + 5 – Attended rescheduled panel interview. Contacted by HR a couple of days later that the hiring dept was interested to proceed w hiring. HR requested for salary info and referee details. Was told to complete some online assessments
Week +8 – HR requested for previous employment’s referees
Week +10 – Radio silence from HR. Sent an email chaser, told to wait for their update
Week +14 – Received verbal offer from HR
Week +15 – Accepted verbal offer
Week +16 – Received LOA

Pending: pre-employment medical check.
