I am in my early thirties with 12 yoe but have been in a stat board for about 2.5 years. I feel the current place kinda impeding my progression.

It all boils down to what uni, degree, etc. Some pt degree are not recognized. It's all subjected to the agency internal benchmark, etc. Similarly, scholars has different tiers and benchmark too.
But my guess is currently pursuing will not be taken as degree holder. because no guarantee you get it right? You can give up halfway too.
But no harm letting them know. if you can do the job, maybe temporarily they will pay you according to what qualifications you have and then upgrade you once you get it? End of day, it's the organisation hiring you that will decide. Some agencies have different hiring schemes. So, no point guessing and go for it. You can ask their HR.

That aside i oso know of colleagues who came in on pt degrees as fresh grad.
The Gov recruiter also wont be telling u why u r rejected and especially not because of your private degree. It is not politically correct n against how we do things. But if u still believe its cos of ur pt degree that got u rejected from gov job at a higher level then nvm la. Im just pointing out it is possible. Might be rare but possible and definitely not an absolute rejection just cos u doing pvte degree.

End May: Applied for a position with a ministry the last day before posting closed
End May: Shortlisted for an interview the next working day + asked to finish a written test and submit within 12 hours from my preferred day
First week of June: Attended interview with SD, SAD, D and a HR BP the week after posting closed.
First week of June: Received another email and WhatsApp from another team asking for an informal chat about myself and the work they do for the second week
Second week of June: Attended interview and team seems pretty pleased. HR was not present in this session. Was told at the end that they will liaise w HR BP but have not heard anything from HR on waiting time, application procedure since. Have followed up with HR on this matter but did not get a response at all.
Do I need to be worried? The second interview felt rather good to me though.

Does anyone know how long it takes for MSF to give a verbal offer (or what are the steps that are usually taken) after final interview if I have gotten the offer/ is rejected?
