Principal already knows, by now.

It is recommended to them to announce around mid- to late-March, which is also around the time your PRP letters come in.

Reminds me of the Worker's Party COP that taught us that proper documentation is very important! =)

The last time we had that increment was in 2015. Since then, due to the merger of schools and declining birthrate, MOE decided that we had general excess of teachers so the current pay scale is deemed to be "competitive" enough.

Default Increment for teachers

How much was the increment previously in 2015? Will the increment be something like a few hundreds or just those 3-4% increment (if there is any salary adjustment)

Pay increment in 2015 was dependent on your job grade.

GEO 3 to 5 received about 4% whereas the SEOs had 9% increase, this was tied to the maximum salary ceiling of each grade.

GEO 1 and 2, I remembered, did not get this increment as their salaries were deemed competitive.

Actually, sometimes, when your RO starts to write formal emails to you. It already signals something. This also forms the trail of coaching and feedback that is required for them. Some teachers simply cannot register what takes place in the dialogue so it is quite important for such documentation as hard evidences.
