next time let's not call these people teachers. let's just call them "teaching volunteers" okay?

OP, would you like to VOLUNTEER your time and energy to be a teacher?

i will kneel, bow, burn incense and worship you as a god if you're willing to do so
I have always find in intriguing why people would want to climb up the ladder in MOE. Pay is already decent as normal teachers. Anything above that, pay increment is not justified due to amount of shat assigned.

For the average teacher, your statement makes sense.

But for people with enough status, like PSC scholars, or otherwise high enough CEP to potentially climb to senior/top management positions... or even potentially smell the Admin Service, it is possible to eventually achieve a salary that somewhat justifies the level of responsibility.

If you have the chance to climb up high, the toughest part is surviving and climbing through the mid-management years. Your life as a Vice-principal, AD or DD will probably be the most miserable parts of your career.

Only need to declare if going beyond jb town on weekdays.

On weekends and PH, you are free to travel anywhere.

Why not?

Look at how many buildings 'HQ' has. Create new departments and sections here and there, with their own sets of senior directors, directors, deputy directors, SADs, ADs, lead manager, senior manager, manager, assistant manager.

See, so many new positions created.

Also, can speed up attrition at the top, and also post officers out of MOE to other ministries. In HQ, there are quite a number of officers and senior management who were posted in from other ministries. If they can come to MOE, surely those in MOE can go to other ministries too.

If there's a will, there's a way

Hi guys. I am interested in pursuing the Diploma in Education sponsored by MOE. I have around 2 years of experience teaching art to kids in a private company. Although I have a diploma in interior design from Temasek Polytechnic, my final Gpa is below 3. Would I still be considered for this?
