P will submit a report to HQ. The report states whether the P recommends that the outgoing officer be recommended to join MOE again, if officer ever applies again.

Given that the P sounds quite unhappy with the resignation, highly likely that the ‘not recommended’ option was chosen.

Multiple meetings later, said colleague was still firm and tendered. However, when she tried to apply to be a flexi a year later, her application was rejected multiple times, with no explanation given.

Heard of more than one case like that.

The difficulty multiplies, when the teacher is not trained to handle special needs kids.

In a similar situation... the parent has audacity to ask, what the school has done to improve her kid.

Even with 'training', I doubt any teacher could do much about rowdy behaviour from special needs students.

Discipline begins at home.

looks like advice of "dont step on their toes" is quite true, since superscale officers seem to hold a lot of power over their subordinates' futures...

Some kids with special needs can cope in mainstream classes with some supports by the teacher. Nothing too complicated. Just good classroom management.

Only a few kids with more severe needs like intellectual disabilities should be taught in special schools

Have you ever taught a class with more than 5 SEN kids? Let’s not even count the other kids who have complicated family issues. Stop preaching about how a good classroom management can solve everything. Your statement is simply too ignorant.
