OP of this. Just an update of my timeline:

Early Feb: First Interview
Early Feb (few days later): Writing assignment
Mid Feb: Second interview
Early March (2 weeks after): HR contacted to submit G50
Mid March: Submitted G50
Early April: Attended vetting session
Mid April (2 weeks after): HR contacted for documents submission + medical declaration form
Early May: Was informed security clearance cleared
End May (about 1 week after): HR called to inform salary package

Will be signing contract either this week or next week. So in total took about 4 months. Clearance took about 8 weeks for me. Good luck to everyone else that’s waiting!

DXOs are public servants and technically not part of the Civil Service.

Read up on the Public Service vs Civil Service in Sg.

3rd week March: submitted application

1st week May: asked to go interview 2 weeks later

3rd week May: interview

A few days later: Interviewer/hiring manager side contacted to say we're accepting you, wait for the paperwork to be done on our end, and then the relevant entities (HR, MSD) to call you going forward

Went interview in mid Apr 24 and was informed that the interviewer still hasn't decided on the candidate.

I think you are most likely not a 1st choice, so they are just stringing you along without giving you a decision yet.
