Technically, yes they operate in multiple countries
Are they worth joining? Depends on what you are joining as. People here are neglecting what you do is also important. You could join mnc as an auditor, or as corporate development and strategy, the prospects and pay are vastly different.

There is an ongoing phenomenon with some segments of GLC staffs about fantasizing working in MNCs yet they possess neither ability nor opportunity to join one. So they will either launch a sourgrape whine or pretend to be one in the circle yet their mentality is so obviously different.

i am not sure what to recommend the fresh grads to go for. all are the same. its whether you can cope with the fast pace or not. But, i will recommend them to at least stay for a month or two to feel it before quitting.
Sure having a mnc on resume looks better but the question is,can you even cope during the initial part. Otherwise, just go for what you have passion for or interested in.

They give you the resources and tell you to DIY. Sometimes these resources comes with good instructions. Otherwise, you will have to find some ways to find it. That's why experience is very important in MNCs.
Sometimes you will wonder how did you survive the competitive environment of a MNC.

I've worked with idiotic Singaporeans around that age group, and they are also from an MNC. They are mostly like low IQ and EQ, gossipy morons who have no direction in life and throw grunt work to younger employees.
They're not just exclusive to GLCs and SMEs, so it's best that you read Glassdoor reviews before joining a company.

Those are plain idiots and they exist everywhere. The group we were talking about is a different breed of self entitlement driven incompetence often accompanied with parachuting entry into positions of insularity from reality. Simply pluck them out of their position and they will not survive elsewhere.

True, but that is why they are in GLCs in the first place

This is exactly why you will never be more than average.

I like your optimism, but it is also essential to keep in reality. You say average, then how about those below average? They can't get a job / low pay despite getting good grades due to Covid. Some white collar PMETs lost their jobs as well and when they move to under industries/new roles, they taken a massive pay cut just to feed their families. Some businesses had to close because towkays cannot sustain with Covid still around (e.g. Bars, Karaoke, F&B).
Nothing wrong with having a goal and strive to be the best of the rest, but the previous post had provided a good point on where an average person may be at and for some to be not to be too delusional. You can say that is what average people thinking are, but if alot more people have the same thinking of working hard to be the best of the rest, competition increases and eventually you are average in the end without even knowing, lol.
