I’ll never bother to go to these kind of department trip. Whole weekend wasted to see buibui cui and tired looking jhk and jhb. Every time I see the photos they uploaded when they’re back, I’m thankful I made the correct choice

Sometimes I think the mess we're in is also caused by HR.

Apparently the offer letter is only given out after accepting the offer and some things told don't match our company policy. One of my senior had another offer that paid almost double but HR told them EP applied already cannot cancel. Turns out they did not apply for it until almost 2 months later. So now I have an extremely unmotivated senior haiz. I'm really upset and worried about my project but if I was shortchanged like that I also think I will quit or quiet quit. I wish they just hired someone who really wants to be here in the first place.

students and new joiners make up strange stories all the time. i've heard people say A1 pay is 4k+ because they counted CPF... then say company give iPhone but never say must give back one... now too shy to say go batam go bali go phuket on their own dime then say went taiwan went china...

Foreigner spotted. No local will count employer CPF as part of basic pay, but foreigners get the 17% in cash so they usually consider it.
