I have one senior who just got his pr recently. Keep going everywhere and tell everyone he is sgporeans. Talk and act like some kampong suaku kia. English cui until you rather listen to dog bark.

Govt is desperate to keep the racial balance and Chinese Malaysians love studying accounting so unfortunately audit is the dumping ground for their source of new citizens. Only thing that can change their fking tune is votes as we can see from the new EP system after the poor showing last round but everyone around me is so bloody happy with their recent property stonks so I gave up. Won't be surprised if they reverse the points system so that stingy bosses can hire more EP without caring about quota. Though at this stage not that the partners care because they're so happy with the full-time interns' 1k salary and outsourcing to Malacca and Myanmar and the managers voluntarily resigning

I remember when i was in china on holiday tour group and we were at a restaurant. The restaurant owner asked a group of malaysians where they were from and u know what they said, "I'm from singapore, i'm singaporean"

Of course as a sinkie, i can tell that they are jhk from their out of tune chinese.

Damn throw our face sia.

PR is an easy thing to get for JHK auditors
1) Salary+ cpf encashment decent
2) Branding
3) Without auditors, financial system suffers since maybe dumb people out there thinking auditors report actually add value. But truth is we lack of manpower and time, so we purposely omit and help hide client issues so that we can go back to their malaysia bungalow on weekends. Even if caught, jhk can just pack up and leave, go back msia and practice instead.

Audit has no value at its current state but without it, it'd be cowboy zone. If nobody catch me I will also claim to have 500% profit growth every year and pump and dump sheep investors. Who ask the sinkie partners to be such slave drivers until no sinkie want to do audit, we don't lack sinkie candidates at senior level for banking and consulting.

I think for mediocre people, B4 audit is ok la. Y'all aren't high flyers in the first place, don't expect anything high paying or prestigious like scholar, doctor, lawyer, consultant, etc.

Can BTO, after 10 15 years sell and upgrade to condo, can raise 1 or 2 kids on double-income, good enough liao.

Just keep your head down and grind lor. JHK or not, CECA or not, at the end of the day, do your work to expectations, don't f++k up, collect your salary, get regular promotions, go back home spend time with your family.

Don't make your work your whole life or identity. Otherwise you'll become like the JHKs that y'all keep complaining about.

This advice is directed at the vast majority of auditors. Y'all know who you are. Average academics since young, government co-ed schools, mid-tier JCs like Pioneer or Serangoon, never top of class or top in A lvls.
