No need to wonder. Associates are mainly grads from sg. Seniors onwards mostly they hire foreigners

Why you keep asking one, if they never reach out to you for more than 2 weeks you can already assume that you are not shortlisted anymore.
If they really want you, they will get back to you within 3 days.. just move on lah
