Bruh what talking you. Math nerds?

Acc is a BCC/B course based on 10th percentile IGP leh. Other course are ABB/B or something for 10th percentile.

So not only are Acc grads poor in social skills, they are also too dumb to score well for A levels which is mostly rote learning.

What does that make them? Failed nerds? Double losers? Cmi in everything?

At least it’s still better than engineering. Engineering students no hope. Have to compete with the CECAs and FTs.

Accounting is still a solid rice bowl if you graduated from the local unis. Not private overseas unis

Yes sadly… I got first class honours in BBA from NUS, dean lister every year… But only got into local bank middle office. Ex jc classmates with average grades from SMU economics got into foreign bulge bracket bank front office. Unfair life but that’s banking. Grades don’t mean much.

Default fking malaysians

Today is the first day i became an accountant since leaving the big 4.

80% of my finance department is malaysians.
80% of the auditors that come to audit us is malaysians.

Good luck finding jobs my lovely singaporeans

Associate (Fresh grad): 4.5k onwards
Senior Associate (2 Yoe): 6k onwards
Manager (5 Yoe): 9k onwards
Senior Manager (8 Yoe): 12k onwards
Director (11 Yoe): 15k onwards

Not sure about Director and above, but that salary breakdown is fairly accurate if you minus SGD1k for SA and M.
