No scaq
I wonder how far can one go without a scaq or acca or cpa equivalent cert, with a business degree in suss. Not just in big 4 auditing, but accountancy as a field. May senpais here help 🙏

There are CFOs out there without any of those fancy carts, so on paper the answer is “no theoretical limit”, it’s all up to your abilities, networking, luck and skill.
In practice we will still strongly recommend it if you intend to stay in the industry, since it will open more doors and doll up your CV a bit. Many of your would-be competitors would have professional qualifications so if you intend not to pursue it, you have to look for your own unique selling point.

Not just big 4 leh, my dept also got jhk jhb apply for controller. At first give them chance but during interview can tell they beh kan. Now see acca just throw into trash
