Honestly don’t think partners will raise salaries because it come out of their share - it takes kpmg to raise A1 salaries just so the rest follow. End of the day, audit is in industry which pays ok but high stability.

You all keep talking about salary
But is salary the solution or not?
Even if Increase A1 pay to 4k, can attract and retain talents? People willing to do the long hours and have the right attitude to learn, follow up, and handle projects?
And if it is not the solution, what other aspects should the firms start looking at?

Confirm yes.
Audit itself is da*n boring work. But so are most other jobs like IB, PE swe or law. U think churning DCF models as banker very interesting? Writing code as dev? Doing due diligence as lawyer? But they're prestigious because the pay is high.
Pay high enough n people will glamorize even the most boring jobs and want to join the sector. Pay like crap and even the most fulfilling jobs will be shunned.
