Such a qualification is usually sought by managers who are already overseeing a team of engineers or by senior engineers with the relevant experience who are looking forward to take on a managerial role.

Sorry to break your bubble but you should have took a BEng in the relevant engineering discipline instead of the engineering management degree. Not to mention the fact that your degree is from a private school so it may not be that recognised.

To answer your question, the salary scale for the engineering management job is unknown because you are not likely to be hired in an engineering management job due to the lack of qualifications and relevant experience.
Bingo, you are very right. Engineering management is those that raises from Senior/Principal Engineer. And if you notice, they are all actually at 30s to 40s. All old bird already.

So, do you have any suggestions for me on pursuing Part-time Degree in Singapore?

I graduated from Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering.

Thank you.

Consider part-time BEng degree with NTU or BTech degree with NUS.

Polytechnic Diploma in a relevant field of Engineering or equivalent local / foreign qualifications. Duration of the diploma must be at least a 3 years course.

If you diploma is from a reputable sch, should be fine.

my advice is to switch to economics, accountacy or finance and try to do well... dun waste your life as an engineer... little prospect and financial returns at the end of the day... i have worked as an engineer for over 10 years.. itz a little too late for me to change track already... you younger generation still got chance to make it right for yourself... dun believe the ******** they tell you about engineering...itz a scam... You will REGRET if you choose this road... your future wife and kids will also suffer with you.... Good luck!!!

mind to share your income? How come a 10-years engineer comments that wife and kids will suffer? I assume u draw 5-6k for average performer with 10 years experience in engineering and I don't see how your wife and kids suffer with this kind of salary.

This is not the 1980s. 5-6k is simply just enough to feed a family of 4 with a 3 rm hdb flat. Everyone will suffer when the kids grow up. Pls have more financial sense of Sg's economic situation.

I studied 5 years in NTU part-time to get my EEE degree..
Having already worked over 10 years in engineering.. my salary still miserable... <4k
Tot that i should take a masters degree to value-add.. But everyone says that most engineering companies will not pay extra for employee who go and pursue engineering master degree ... Feel like damn demoralized..... How to even start family and service a HDB loan..
