Currently in GS BO. Got promoted to vp this year, pay increment from 8k+ to 11k+ per month. 6.5 yoe. Bonus was Abt 5 months of previous pay. Juniors were seeing on average 3 months at least. Bumper year for everyone in the bank. The FO would definitely be much better.

I JPM BO only got 2 mths leh, must be underperformer

Local FO bonus is p bad. Subjective tbh — long hours + long hard grind starting from local bank with much more stress vs 9-6+, GS BO 5k grad starting with 2-3mths bonuses.

At least FO got chance to lateral into BB FO.. it’s like soccer - if I want a striker I will get a striker from a lousier team rather than convert a defender to a striker even though the defender plays for a good team..

If no then that’s how local bank FO compare to Bb FO

Expect to work till midnight at BB. Local bank 6.30pm can go home. Your choice. The second looks more sustainable.
