Best. You know someone at some place that doesn't exist. Julius Baer doesn't have and is not an investment bank. It's a pure private bank. And they don't have Associate as a rank or role. AM->AD->D-> ED -> MDSA->MD

thank u for clearing that up - hope this puts a stop to the mis-information mongers out there with their talk of $7.5k, which honestly does not help anyone

heh heh, though it'd be admittedly rather amusing if any dbs ma tried to negotiate for $7.5k...

Then you should swap places with me. I'm not in any grad prog. starting was 50k pa SGD. bonus insignificant (also quite unhappy).

This is actually quite real. Not only barcap, but other investment banks such as deutsche, UBS, Goldman, Morgan Stanley etc will be on the same payscale for fresh grass in the ib programme.

The question that begs answering is why the poster is trying to get attention here with the post above. He's obviously trying to get attention and accolades with what is essentially a non value added post.

Those who cannot make anywhere close and are stuck in their miserable 2-3k jobs always cannot accept the fact that finance people make so much more. Common reaction is to sour grape and accuse ppl of big cannon fairy... Losers...

DBS MAs (undergrads) are definitely getting 4k. But its weird that their IB analysts are getting less than 3k.

DBS is not a BB that is why their IBD analysts are gettin a shitty 3k.
