Deputy directors in the civil service may not even earn $200k. Administrators in polys seem to be extremely well-paid, at least compared to civil servants.

May I know how long you have been with the poly? How many months bonus (with 13th mth) did you get last year?
Thanks for sharing.

Do note that because you are on a disciplinary hearing, you will not be given salary for 4 to 6 months. For the remaining months you are given your normal salary, it is nice that you are thinking it in terms of bonus - ya la bonus for you, instead of no pay for 12 months, at least you are getting paid for 6 to 8 months.

Assuming 8 months bonus,
$20k x 20 months = $400k
Not bad at all for such a simple and secured job, speaking in relative terms of course.

Lots of fantasy here.....directors start from around 11k. Don't make it seem as if poly staff earn very good salary. The fact is that most of us including DD level staff earn down to earth salary. The average is 4% increment only.
