Not likely. After my 2nd interview, I was told to wait for 2 weeks for the outcome, and true enough 2 weeks later an offer was made. I'd say 2-3 weeks is the usual duration for MOE to approve the appt.

Once u progressed to the 2nd interview, you should know that the hiring dept wants to hire you. Chances are you should get an offer soon.

I heard in March, all poly lecturers get their increments and bonuses - Merit Increment (MI) and Performance bonus (PB). Also, if someone is promoted from PAX6 to PAX5 or PAX5 to PAX4, they also get their promotion increment.

I would like to know, does both MI and PB depend on the grade that we get:?

Can someone shed rough estimates how much one can expect for
PAX6
PAX5

MI and PB are the same thing. Amount is based on your performance appraisal grade.

Minimum/Bar/Ceiling
PAX5: 3,470/5,320/ 6,240
PAX6: 2,150/4,160/ 5,160

Almost all people from private sector with exp get paycut after joining Poly. Please think twice.

Typo in earlier post.

Yearly increment and performance bonus are separate, and given based on your performance appraisal grade.

If you just do academic work and nothing else, you will probably get D grade. It emans no increment and no PB

There's no fix formula known to employees; only HR personnel probably knows. Yes, yearly increment is merit increment, which is performance based.

C- 1 month
C 1.5 month
C+ 1.75 month

A and B difficult to get unless you are very suck up to bosses and press savvy.

once 2nd interview already know they want to hire you. the wait can be sometimes quite long. i was called almost 4-5 weeks after first interview for the 2nd interview. after that is another final interview but that one just so that upper management can drum into you the strategic goal of the organization. just say yes and follow the lead will be ok - unless you say something really dumb, most likely you will be offer.
