good for you bro. those in CS are in the service to serve the public, most are very good people. they confirm don't earn as much as u do in the private sector. be kind to those who willing to sacrifice for the common good. ignore those who brag, seriously, CS people not really in it for the pay, rather it's an opportunity to serve the nation.

So are CS ppl given free or lower cost of living, i.e. food, housing, etc, and should expect to cut down on their aspirations in life? Cut the nobility.
Service to the people and being paid properly are 2 separate issues.

Hi, can somebody help me explain why my NPAA is not equal to my usual monthly salary? I’m an officer that’s on probation, if that helps.
My gross monthly is $3.5k, inclu MVC, NPC and NPVP. After CPF is deducted, my take-home monthly pay is $2.8k.
My NPAA is listed as $2.7k instead, before CPF is deducted... I just cannot crunch the numbers to get $2.7k?
