RMs are front office but not generally regarded as high finance. Highly successful RMs earn more than IB. Front office and high finance do overlap but are regarded as different subject matter. Just like in military roles, rank and appointment are two distinct matter.

Apparently know this RM who claim he earned big commission around 200k.
Wondering if this is normal. He telling people he big shot already better than "those poor IB folks"?!?!
I'm not from finance so I dunno la. But now he drive Lotus, and BMW.

RM is sales oriented similar to insurance so it depends on the individuals performance

I've seen local bank IB move to BB, but have yet to see BO being anything else but 6k salarymen
