Didn't know of people in such clubs back in my time, so can't say much of the experience. But I would think the magntiude of capital (thus scope of investments and the work entail) matter.

Might potentially build the wrong habits from it. I think you can join those if you want to try it for fun. Getting good grades and build up knowledge/interview skills to secure that first related internship is more helpful.

I not sure. Haven't enter uni yet. Also, what do you think about winter internships? Are they available (ie: can apply) and accessible or do you need to network your way in?

IBD usually take in 6 months interns unless bulge and some bank summer programmes. Winter are far and fewer but still out there.

I am expecting an offer from a mid-tier equity long short hedge fund (AUM: US$1.4bn) to join their investment team as a research analyst. Wanted to get an idea of what compensation should I expect? How much should be the base compensation and what would be the bonus? I have 5 years of experience in sell side equity research.

Is multi asset investment graduate considered high finance? Mainly supporting the Portfolio Managers on investment decisions.

Yep my passion lies in that area. Wanted to learn more about the prospects of the role in supporting PMs.
Compared to my other offer as a business analyst, which role will have a better prospect?
