Didn't know of people in such clubs back in my time, so can't say much of the experience. But I would think the magntiude of capital (thus scope of investments and the work entail) matter.

Might potentially build the wrong habits from it. I think you can join those if you want to try it for fun. Getting good grades and build up knowledge/interview skills to secure that first related internship is more helpful.
