I'm very interested to be an LAE, but there's just this one problem, I worry that one day I will make some mistake/ omit some procedures due to unintentional forgetfulness or due to stress.
Would the 44 months training in SIAEC be able to train me up to avoid these errors? Of course I will put in double effort too. Also, are airplane maintenance system made to be human factor proof?

I been an LAE for 13 years now. it's all depend on yourself. If u are the worry type and scare to do this or that...my advice forget bout becoming LAE. the only way to gain experience is to make mistake but not BIG mistake and learn mistake made by others. If u know u made one and something happen, just admit them. Any other LAE here who say they never made mistake, means they dun hav enough experience. I seen few of my friends got promoted because they admit the mistake they make. eg one who 'burn' an engine while doing hi-power engine ground run. once u got ur license, do look around, there are plenty of opportunities around and like me, after my bond, i worked in malaysia and seen my of my friends now all over the world eg. middleeast, china and australia. with CASA now accepting CAAS n EASA license for direct convertion.

No offence. But, honestly, the LAE pay is too much for someone with just a diploma.

Yes, LAE pay too much for my diploma but too little for all my aircraft licenses.... U know how tough to qualify and obtain all these licenses???Tell me what is your background to make such a judgement?
