So is the codefather able to fix the not enough headcount problem for his units or does he intend to replace them with ex indeed? How does the math work actually? Or is he busy with his blog posts on his book and chatgpt?

Thinking from another perspective, could it be codefather didn't intend to absorb them but rather forced to?

1) CE is a civil servant for his career. If he wants something he can personally control that rivals a certain division, just make it report directly to himself(that division is already reporting to him directly, so theres already precedence).
2) DCE already has tons of private experience. He can always resign if its something that was forced to him. See his linkedin to see his shortest job as CTO
