Huh. The charge out rate has nothing to do with their salaries.
The former is between GovTech and govt departments/ministries. The latter is between the ex-Indeed refugees and GovTech.

Not the original person. But charge out rate is meant to cost recover based on highest salary in the grade.
So its a valid way of estimation( of cos the markup rate is another thing) of the budget thats required.
Short of them openly publishing their salary like ogp, that is the best way we have for estimation.

I believe charge out rates are pre-set based on whole of govt agreement with GovTech and approved by MOF. If special projects need special rates, then its on a project basis but usually a multiplier of the base rates.
GT cannot suka suka revise the rates. they do revise it from time to time but we're talking abt once every few years.

Yup preset based on job grade. Though I did remember there was a round of increase after the salary increment across the board 1-2 years back.

They never had a AMA after the con around compensation issue. Which reminds me, new DCE wanting to get his own team is one thing, HR P didn't advise or do anything on this? Or he's as good as the IMDA side?
