Frankly speaking, perm and direct contract not much differences. U maybe only worry whether they will not renew u,but thats about it

lead level is J, hr offer u how much?

Fyi there are tech leads in various projects from grade G, the role doesn't always match the grade.
If they are offering "Lead SWE" title, then will be grade J

Is the 10 years experience all relevant? You managed to negotiate more salary - like $200-500?

All relevant as in all in IT , project management.

Nope I didn't.

So a bit back story, I was a third party for 1 year contract.
My last drawn was $5.5
1 year later i "apply' for govtech and they offered me $6.5 if not wrong.

A 1k increase just to join officially so didn't nego anything. Doesn't seem like got room for nego anyways
