dd is as high as most people can go.

plus, MAS yearly increment is below inflation. so you earn less and less each year you stay at dd.

AD to DD is called redesignation, it's not really a promotion. Promotion is from TL to Div Hd, this kind. Most people can become DD at 33-35, it's a age thing.

So AD to DD is not exactly performance related? Chiong also no use?

Assoc to AD is almost non existent. Just the usual increment.
