It's whether they want to or not. Unless your experience is specialised for MAS jobs they can get similar mileage out of someone at a lower cost. Many MAS jobs are not particularly demanding in terms of skills.

There are different tech departments within the organization. There are tech risk, data analytics, ITD, etc.

There are big changes within the ITD, where i heard all of their Division Head within the department are "stepping down" and we have all new Division Head now.

For all Division Head to be changed within a span of 1-2 years, it is not common, we are not talking about 1 or 2 or 3, but ALL of the Division Head are CHANGED for whatever reason they can try to justify, but we can see that with a new AMD , things changes fast.

Job stability in public services isn't like what it is from the past, you could be managed out. However for majority that are Deputy Director (DD) and below, you are safe, as you are farmer.

I read from older posts that AD2 pay ranges between 5.5k to 9k and DD1 ranges from 8.5k to 11.5k

Is this still accurate? Or completely outdated already?
