As someone who just tendered.
1. You can use your AL to bring forward your last day.
2. Or you can encash your AL for $, paid to your the next month of your last day.

For point 1, it's at the discretion of ur manager..In fact, the manager can cancel existing applied leave during ur notice period, even if u had applied them before u tendered. So pls dun go apply leave, book holiday, then tender, thinking u can go for a trip, then end up cancelling.
I'm surprised some didn't even read ur contract properly.

So by default last day is +30 days. Then only if manager agree can apply leave on hr central to get last day moved forward?
