Aiya if is junior role, dont need give shyt about the project/company. Even if you give your all, the company will reward you with more work.
Every year bonus is miserable. Some more ncs follows singtel. If singtel is ****, ncs good year also become shyt.

any lao jiaos here? i jus joined ncs recently and noticed S and E pass holders seem to make up the majority, can anyone explain why is this?

Most of the PMs I've met in SI seem less effective than engineers,almost like routers or broken proxies,yet they get paid more than the engineers doing the actual work.

No idea, nepotism? i always think i am a quota for them to be hired. Maybe the fresh grads, junior grades and interns too.

most PM are not technical, only know how to taiji. IT industry used to be the dumping ground back then, like 10 years+ ago. so obviously the quality is not as good compared to new devs.

Hi, got an offer from NCS Nucleus Programme for SWE, is it negotiable? The pay seems really low even with the covered costs of a Masters Degree compared to the average. Has anyone successfully negotiated for a higher salary?

For those who are wondering, the pay has not changed looking at last years post.
