CSA is nowhere on par with GovTech. They try their best to elevate their status by claiming to be under PMO but the reality is that they are an agency administrated by MCI and hence under MCI

I only work 2 hours a day but I also tell everyone I'm working day and night and over the weekends.

HR department is mainly young folks/fresh grads and refugees who did internal transfer. The essence of HR is missing in IMDA. HR is supposed to be the one department that can unite staff but that's not the case.
This CE is just another parachute, sometimes I feel he is just too full of himself and make unnecessary unpleasant comments. He can't be on par because he is just another yes man. He should brush up on his industry knowledge rather than always harp on ppt. We aren't hired to be a marketer, if marketing is only what he is capable of, I feel MTI or EDB is a better place for him.

Spot on man...that paper general ownself no technical expertise so only can only touch on general things like ppt aesthetics. He should go join or rather get parachuted into DSG if he likes to talk about designs.

Doesn't reflect well on the agency if the work is so general that any Tom, dick and Harry can come in and do/manage. Means the work is largely administrative (staff work) and not much niche skills involved.

agencies with parachuters always have stringent hiring requirements for the junior and mid-level so that they can work for the top bosses who are parachuted. if the whole agency is filled with people from the ex-military, you see where it will end up to be and the incompetency of the top bosses will surely be visible.

The following CEs... well...
SL was good. TKH was still ok, at least he had experience in MCI before joining IMDA.

But this LCH...I'm speechless, how is he even evaluated to be the best person in singapore to lead the organisation?
