Working hours
Understand it is normal to OT at IMDA, but anyone knows what are the standard working hours? Thanks

Going to graduate soon and was thinking of IMDA but am very wary after reading the posts here lol. Is the mass exodus the reason why there are over 70+ openings at C@Gov and the upcoming Open House?

Lew Chuen Hong's SAF style attitude towards staff doesn't work in IMDA.
IMDA isn't SAF where people are expected to say yes sir yes sir. He needs to acknowledge the fact that he's just a generalist (pun intended) without ICT background so he needs to accept alternative views from his staff who are ICT-trained.
Unfortunately, many people with real ICT experience have quit. All that remains are paper pushers who don't even know how to set up a LAN.

I
Might
Die
Anytime
With continuous OT at night, inept leadership, bootlick culture and toxic bosses, this is true.

those who remains are people who cannot find jobs elsewhere. to fresh grads or anyone who wants to join, think 1000x - you are learning from unskilled "bosses" who are not valued elsewhere.
open house? that's just a wayang show from HR to show they are doing something. the hr team rots. when have they listened or helped staff? even their team has high turnover, speaks about the leadership

This type of sloppy work standard can be in administrative service?

Stay away. Their open house is a wayang show from HR - they can’t even save their own team with the high resignations. Speaks volumes of the inept leadership within, hr don’t even help or listen to staff and yet have the cheek to sell IMDA as employer of choice?
those who stay are people who cannot find jobs elsewhere. If you want to learn, do you want to learn from these people who are not valued elsewhere?
