If those CSA officers posted out are ‘not so good’ then the agencies won’t accept anymore CSA officers what, why would they risk their own KPI?

Then if all CSDP are posted out means got demand for these officers cos they pass the agencies requirements.
do posted put officers get better pay and prospect?

Not the previous poster but this might be due to lack of forward planning by HR during initial rollout. Quite a number of CSA folks I spoke to were also surprised how CSA could take in 30 to 40+ pax at a time.

Similar to overhiring in tech companies during covid, just that govt agencies can't do layoff. The most they can do is to let these folks post out or reduce subsequent CSDP intake numbers.

The intent for CSPS has always been to meet both CSA and WOG needs.
It is stated upfront.

Actually people who completed CSDP and chose to leave CSA
got good jobs in the private sector too. It benefits all and overall it
is a good programme and have given many a good headstart.

Why can’t hiring such huge numbers, posting out, not be deliberate?

And if the program is so bad then why do people still want to apply? Word from these “quite a number of CSA folks that you ‘spoke to’” would have spread about how horrible the organisation and the programme is.

Your assumptions dont add up 🤔

walao eh, the extent to which you try to defend their every action almost makes it seem like you're from their HR dept sia. if program is not good means no one will apply? working in system integrator environment sucks but still lots of people apply, by your logic we should be expecting no one to apply.

im from Govtech and over here also got similar issue. basically the CE sent an email acknowledging that they prolly hired too many ppl and that some of the contract staff will not be renewed. those excess perm estab will prolly be seconded to other agencies...
