Even the easy ones are already quite unachievable for most people.
Best Businesses

1. Start a MLM and get goondus to be your downlines.

2. Conduct Forex or Stock Trading seminars. Advertise in New Paper with "I Earned 5 Million in 7 days!"

3. Write "inspirational books" and get goodus to buy e.g. How To Unlock Your Potential Within or Leadership: The Golden Rules.

Nice ideas, though a little unethical, but who cares.

For (2), it's not passive income because you're selling your time, spending time teaching the goondus. Once you stop teaching, you don't make money, unless you manage to con them to subscribe to your secret forex trading portal.

For me, from 62, I expect $2,000/m from CPF Life (for both me and my wife) and $2,000/m from both our SRS. So, not too bad $4,000/m in our retirement... The Govt has planned this well....

only 4k?

paying up 2 studio apartments will give you rental income of more than that. and when you tire of collecting rent, you can sell the apartments for a couple of millions.

and CPF is subject to policy risk. the government may one day decree that retirement age is 88! our MM Lee still works when he's 88! you may not get the chance to enjoy your CPF. i don't count the money when i don't see it in my hands.

Yup, you are just an average Singaporean but still ok as long as you still have a roof under you.

To be above the top average, you have to work harder.

Hard for the rest of us to judge with so little information. "Doing ok" is also very subjective. "Average Singaporean" also very subjective. I also feel that I am an average Singaporean. But you and I might be very different in expectation.

Looking at statistics, only about 5% of Singaporeans live in a Landed property, you are well above average..
