Sorry to ask, many posted that their annual salary are >200k. How could you get this kind of salary? I couldn't even find this kind of job in job portal. After how many years of experience and which position level you could get this figure. May someone give me an enlightenment is respected.

I don't even have half of this figure. I know I'm not getting well, but I managed to divert my portfolios to another cheaper country. I managed to purchase 2 landed property in Indo (my home country) and 2 condo in China (my wife's home country). All are rent out. And I hope the value will increase along with high economic growth of this 2 countries. I'm a PR here. Thanks guys.

Here my net worth, a property worth 900k paid in cash, a 5 room hdb in northeast worth 450k after deduct 70k loan, no stocks only some FD and annuities worth 600k. Earning 350k p.a nd save around 10-15k per month due to lavish lifestyle. Bought my brand new merc E back in 2010. Holiday more than 4x, flexible work, grown up child (in Poly) and i'm in my late 40s. Havent include my wife networth as i believe we r talkin about individual here.

Some people say i earn so much must be rich, i said no cos i lost alot during recession, lost my job, my car and almost my home. Only recent 4 years i doing well. Still far away from retirement though, maybe when i reach 60 then i consider to retire, maybe by that time inflation hit high, everything become less and i had continue to work...

Not work but self employed, if i were to work for other, i wont even earn 80k p.a
True that the current property price here hit high, its better to invest overseas.
And currently i am in late 40s, near to retirement so i should achieve higher networth to prepare for a financial freedom.

That's not bad, at least you don't have any study loans to clear
Once you start work, go and save
You can save $100k over 10 years

Locums make so much? What about the average GPs in neighbourhood clinics?

I'm working hard now, Financial Consultant and a contract job in an MNC.

Trying very hard to accumulate wealth. I realized how much i was behind others at this age. Lack of financial knowledge and discipline totally killed me.

I thought at the age of 20+, it was absolutely normal for one to have about 10k ++ including all the hongbaos and all.

Locum rates are $80 to $120 per hr depending on week day or nights and in clinics or A/E. I make average $90 per hr, don't work in A/E or nights. Properties worth about 3 million now, cpf $200000, stocks $40000, savings $100000, networth about 1.2 million for myself. I am 38 years old.
