No regular increment once you have hit your ceiling... you can at most pray for across-the-board salary review for your scheme, like the last one a few years back where most people get 10%...

Assuming i cannot promote, till i retire at age of 62, my salary will be stuck at $5900 per mth?
Or will they still give a small increment of $50 etc to combat inflation?
I am still 32 this year and i tink my cep is MX12.

As compare to an average person in private (say 15 months package), this person need to be earning 8k per month.
you judge for yourself if that is achievable. i only know based on MOM stats for all salaried workers, 120k p.a. is the top 20-30%

Are there many in banks / financial institutions earning 10K pm and up by 30s? Assuming local grad with 2nd upper or fch.

It's that much? Are you in the ministry? Where did you get your source from?

wow, there are so many high calibre people here.
Either holders of first class or second upper honours, and all earning 5-digit income at a relatively young age. haha

Huh I won’t consider people who work in financial institutions and IT on the same scale as most civil servants. These are the higher paid areas in private sector, doesn’t make up much of the % of private sector employees.
The majority of private sector employees eg. those in industries such as education, media or hospitality do not earn 5 figures a month by 30s and thats a fact.

You used to draw $4.5k. Now you can have a 22% increase, fair or not, it is a good deal for you.
Btw when joined a SB from private they gave me an increment of only $190.
